The Great Grassroots International Yard Sale Competition

Hosting a yard sale not only rasies much-needed funds for Grassroots International's programs, it also helps to raise awareness in your community about our work.  It's recycling for a larger puprose!  Sign up today to hold your own yard sale and donate the proceeds to Grassroots, or post items to eBay and list us as a charitable beneficiary (see link below for instructions). 

The host of the yard sale with the biggest take by Labor Day (September 7th, 2009) will receive a special prize package from Grassroots International, including our new t-shirt.  So take this opportunity to clean out the garage, the closets, the basement - and help a great cause at the same time! 

Here’s how you can participate:
Choose any day or weekend to host a yard sale, either on your own or together with friends and neighbors.  Take this as an opportunity to inform your neighbors and community about Grassroots International, and consider running one of our photo slideshows during your yard sale or hosting a house/block party alongside it.  Check out these helpful tips and resources for running a yard sale to benefit Grassroots International:
